OBP City Government Structure
- OBP is governed under the rules codified by the Kentucky legislature for sixth-class cities.
- Officials include a Mayor, four City Commissioners, a City Treasurer, a City Clerk and a City Engineer.

Old Brownsboro Place City Council Meetings
- OBP holds City Council meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the Springdale Presbyterian Church at 7812 Brownsboro Rd Louisville, KY 40241 (opens in new tab).
- Meetings begin at 7:00 pm, however, please arrive before this time as the the doors will be promptly locked at 7pm as per the rules of the church.
- If you are running late please text or call any elected official to get in including Peggy Carter at 502-417-4402.
- Please enter the side basement door with the long maroon awning walkway.
- Walk straight to the open area and we will be in one of the rooms on the right side. The meeting rooms have glass walls and it easy to find us.
- Any OBP resident or guest who would like to speak at our city meeting should sign up in advance.
- Your request should be emailed to the OBP Place Clerk, Megan Imel, imel.megan@gmail.com, at least five days prior to our regularly scheduled meeting.
- Please provide
- Your first and last name
- Topic(s) that you would like to speak on in a bulleted format
- You will be given three minutes at the end of the meeting to speak and then any additional time for discussion at the administration’s discretion.
- This will help our administration to be better prepared to answer questions and keep our meetings on schedule.
- Moving forward we do ask that guests please refrain from interrupting the meeting outside of your allotted time on the agenda.
