OBP is governed under the rules codified by the Kentucky legislature for sixth-class cities. Officials include a Mayor, four City Commissioners, a City Treasurer, a City Clerk and a City Engineer. The current city administration includes:

Old Brownsboro Place City Council Meetings

OBP holds City Council meetings on the third Tuesday of each month in the second floor meeting space at the Sunrise Senior Living location at 6700 Overlook Drive. Meetings begin at 7:00pm.  City residents are welcome to attend, but as space is limited we ask you to announce your plans to attend with the Mayor at least 24 hours in advance. If you have an items you would like to add to our meeting agenda, please contact the City Clerk at least 48 hours in advance.
